It all began in 1968, when Gianni and Erminia built the hotel and made it their life’s work. She was in the kitchen, he welcomed guests at reception: two different roles, but one shared idea of hospitality, built on care, simplicity and human connection. Seasons have passed and generations have followed, but that thread has never been broken.

Today, Gianpaolo, Elena, Marco and Anna carry on the homely atmosphere created by the founders. It is not simply about continuing a business, but about preserving a way of welcoming guests through small gestures, personal attention and the sense of familiarity you feel from the moment you walk through the door.

At the table, this philosophy comes through in local cuisine, with Trentino and Italian specialities designed to complement days spent in the mountains. After a walk along the trails of Val di Fassa or a day on the snow, there is something special about returning to familiar flavours and a place where conviviality is still at the heart of the experience.

And when it is time to slow down, there is Essenza Spa, a cosy wellness area with a Finnish sauna, steam bath, whirlpool and Zerobody treatments. A place designed simply to give yourself some time, in peace and without rushing.
