Utol

A blend of Art, Craftsmanship, Tradition and Innovation

Can an everyday object become something more? For Utol, the answer is yes. Because even a plate, a cup or a glass can tell the story of a place, evoke a landscape and bring the beauty of materials and shapes into everyday life.

Utol takes its name from a Ladin word meaning “useful”. A name that captures the philosophy behind the project: bringing together art, craftsmanship, design and tradition to create objects that are made to be used, enjoyed and, at the same time, appreciated for their beauty.

At the heart of every creation is the value of handcrafted work. Each piece is made by hand and is therefore unique: small differences, imperfections and variations become part of its identity, revealing the gesture and skill of the person who created it.

The main source of inspiration is the natural landscape and mountains of Trentino, with a particular focus on the Dolomites and Val di Fassa. Rocks, forests, snow, meadows and mountain landscapes become an endless source of inspiration, reinterpreted into objects designed for the table and everyday life.

Plates, cups, glasses and small accessories are born from the meeting of material and creativity. Seemingly simple objects acquire their own character through attention to detail and their ability to turn an everyday gesture into something special.

Utol is also an invitation to rediscover the value of things made slowly, of hands shaping materials and of objects designed to last. A collection that embraces contemporary design while maintaining a strong connection with the valley's landscape, culture and craftsmanship.

Utol creations can also be discovered at Belebon, the new shop in Canazei, where these small expressions of creativity meet other forms of local craftsmanship.
